Photographer Alexandra Silverthorne reviews INTERFACE in Solarize This.
http://solarizethis.blogspot.com/2006/01/interface-fraser.html
Andrew's two newest paintings, "10-31-05 no.1" and "10-31-05 no.2", are included in the Fraser Gallery Bethesda's new group exhibit; INTERFACE: Art & Technology. Curated by Catriona Fraser, the exhibit explores the marriage of technology with contemporary art. Robotics, magnetism, motorization, video, podcasts, cellular phones, lasers and computers are in the mix.
"We'll show what happens," says Fraser, "when talented and creative individuals, with a proven record using technology as an integral part of their art, are given free reign to deliver a new work within that dialogue."
Sangria will be served and chaos will ensue at the opening reception on FRIDAY THE 13th, 6-9pm! January 13 - February 8
